Pat Moses @ Ricks sport center took this photo @ 5:30 Looks like its snowing on the slope. There is a line tonight of very very heavy Thunderstorms approaching the sierra. I think the cooling in the atmosphere will tame these babies......neverless look for more precip tonight, followed by a day of amazing instability, as this cut-off low shows us whats its worth. I could be
wrong but the NWS is totally playing off this Secondary system......we shall see total storm accumulation between today and tomorrow 6-10 inches on upper slopes.
Look out however next week as we get a peek at what winters about. Just in time to open the slopes.
