Syd and Nancee Suave--on the Topic of Summer Wear
Where do people in this region go for shoes that aren't advertised with a little blue light flashing, asks Nancee. Well, as a good friend, I respond, there are a number of outlet stores that have suitable flat shoes for sale, and luckily you won't be paying hundreds of dollars for them either. I know Nancee is used to her Nine West's, but some things have to be sacrificed for natural beauty I tell her. Syd on the other hand doesn't need much to amuse him, and he's enjoying his new found freedom from the shoe mongers from the Southland. After all, people on the Eastside don't put much stock in each other's footwear. Thank goodness....Syd and Nancee are planning to take a little trip down to Mill Creek Station in Round Valley, near Bishop over the weekend, to find out what all the hype is about with the enchanting little entertainment venue. I for one will be on hand to see what they wear, and I'm bringing my own dancing shoes, since Roger and Marylou always throw one heck of a good shindig.
